Shalupe community alliance was founded in 2000 by a group of community organizers who recognized the need for a local organization dedicated to helping African immigrants and refugees. Since then, we have grown into a thriving nonprofit, serving hundreds of individuals each year.
We provide diverse programs to assist those we serve in regaining stability. From job training to mental health counseling, and fostering community through the arts, we offer the resources and support needed for African immigrants and refugees to reach their goals.
In the last year alone, we've empowered over 1,000 individuals in our community to enhance their lives through our initiatives. From fostering creativity and resilience through the arts to promoting diversity and inclusion, we continue to make a profound difference in building a stronger, more vibrant community for all.
